text doesn't appear

bit of a problem i'm new to the whole flash thing.
using mx
Tryin to do a scrolling text page, not the component but with my own arrow buttons. In the movie the text appears and scrolls so However I load the movie into another. When i run it the text doesn't appear. How can it work and then when it's loaded as movie not? Do I need to preloader the text file? Can
anyone help me ?

Make sure the new movie is in the same file as the text file, assuming the original version was. In other words, wherever the original movie accessed the text file, the new movie needs to be in the same place [folder] as the original one, and the new text file needs to be in the same folder as the old one.
