Default Block ports?

Does cpwebhosting.net block ports for server security reasons?

Cpwebhosting.net don’t open any unwanted ports on our shared servers, so if you require additional port access, then we suggest you purchase a Dedicated Hosting plan, as you get a dedicated environment and you can run as many applications you want with any port you wish to open.
